How it started
The Perseverance Scholarship program was initiated in 2014 by our current Board member and former State Representative Cheri Helt. Established with the noble aim of acknowledging students who display commendable determination, dedication, and persistence, this program celebrates their journey to high school graduation and the ambitions they hold for the future.
Application process
The award
All scholarship funds are directly dispatched to the designated college or trade school by the Education Foundation providing a post graduate opportunity that some students would never have.

Students will apply for the Perseverance Scholarships individually using this form. Applications for 2025 are due by 11:59pm on January 17th.
The Perseverance Scholarships are available to high school seniors who have demonstrated exceptional determination and resilience in overcoming challenges.
The deadline to apply for the Perseverance Scholarship is January 17, 2025 at 11:59pm. Late submissions will not be considered.
All applications will be carefully reviewed by our scholarship committee. Finalists will be selected based on their academic achievements, and letters of recommendation.
Successful students will be notified of their scholarship award once recipients have been chosen. Scholarship recipients will also be announced on our website. Date of announcement for 2025 has yet to be released.
